Flexible spending accounts

- Health Care Accounts are used to pay out-of-pocket expenses such as deductibles, co-insurances, and other medical expenses not covered by insurance
- Contributions are pretax and begin the first day of the month following the first date of employment
Dependent life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance
- Coverage starts the first day of the month following the first day of employment
- Coverage available for employee, spouse, and eligible dependent children

Life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance

Safety gear

Tuition Assistance & Degree Programs
- Full-time employees are eligible for tuition reimbursement up to $15,000 per year for undergraduate coursework or degree programs completed at accredited institutions within approved programs.
- Part-time employees may qualify for reimbursement on a pro-rated basis.
- Reimbursement amounts follow IRS guidelines, allowing up to $5,250 per year to be provided tax-free, with amounts above that considered taxable income.
Medical services & employee well-being
- Basin Electric and its subsidiaries provide access to dedicated Medical Services — on-site clinics staffed by medical professionals who offer office visits, virtual consultations, and prescription support. These services are available at no cost to employees and their covered dependents enrolled in the health plan.
- We also promote employee well-being by encouraging healthy lifestyle habits. Employees have access to services such as blood screenings, flu shots, and fitness facilities (where available).
