Basin Electric announced today Todd Brickhouse will join the cooperative as its senior vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) effective June 10, 2022. Steve Johnson, current CFO, will retire in June after more than 40 years of service to Basin Electric.
“We are very happy Todd has accepted the role of CFO,” said Todd Telesz, Basin Electric chief executive officer and general manager. “He is a seasoned professional having worked many years within the cooperative model and financial markets. His experience and leadership will be instrumental to our success as we continue to serve the needs of our membership. I also want to thank Steve for his years of commitment to Basin Electric and our membership. Through his guidance and leadership, he has built a tremendous team that will help lead the Cooperative well into the future.”

“I have been fortunate to know Todd Telesz and Steve Johnson for more than a decade,” said Brickhouse. “Having worked with Todd in the past, I look forward to joining his team at Basin Electric. It is an honor to succeed Steve, who has both strengthened Basin Electric’s financial position and assembled a talented group of professionals to serve Basin Electric’s membership.”
