The first vaccination event was held at Laramie River Station in Wheatland, Wyoming, on March 23 in conjunction with Platte County Public Health. During this event, 31 employees were vaccinated.

Dakota Gas held events at the Great Plains Synfuels Plant in Beulah, North Dakota, on March 26 and March 30 in conjunction with Custer Public Health. There were 87 people vaccinated at these two events.

On March 31, Basin Electric Medical Services vaccinated 53 people at its Headquarters in Bismarck, North Dakota.

A vaccination event was held at Leland Olds Station in Stanton, North Dakota, on April 1. There were 21 people vaccinated at this event, held in conjunction with Custer Public Health.

Additional vaccination events are being held at Antelope Valley Station in Beulah, North Dakota, on April 8 and at Headquarters on April 14.

“We are excited about finally being able to offer the vaccine to our employees, their dependents, and retirees,” said Dr. Tom Kaspari, Basin Electric on-site physician and medical review officer. “These events give them another option to receive the vaccine if they choose to do so.”

Plans for vaccinating employees at other locations throughout the cooperative will be communicated as they are available.
