Prior to June’s board meeting, the Basin Electric board of directors and senior leadership team met to continue ongoing strategic planning efforts. The strategic planning structure is an ongoing process with several sessions held every year. The sessions are part of a continuous effort to develop and monitor strategic planning initiatives for Basin Electric and its subsidiaries.
Highlights of the summer 2022 planning session included:
Andy Buntrock, Basin Electric director of strategic planning and communications, said the strategic planning team has shifted its planning strategy, which is a benefit to the membership.
“We’re always looking for ways to make the process even better,” Buntrock says. “This session was structured differently than it has been in the past, and it allowed for a lot more discussion. Going forward, I know we have a really solid strategic plan to help guide our employees so we can better serve the membership.”
