Basin Electric recently realigned its organizational structure to better position the cooperative for the future.
The following organizational changes have been made.
- The realignment will create two new senior vice president level roles: senior vice president and chief operating officer (COO) and senior vice president and chief technology officer (CTO). A search is underway to fill both positions.
- The COO will oversee Asset Management & Commodity Strategy, Engineering & Construction, Environmental Services, Operations, and Transmission.
- The CTO will oversee Information Services and Telecommunications and Security/Compliance.
- Government Relations now reports to Chris Baumgartner, senior vice president of Member Services & Administration.
- Corporate Services, which includes Aviation, Facilities, and Records, will report to Miles McGrew, senior vice president and chief human resources officer, starting Aug. 1.
- Procurement and Resource Planning & Rates are now led by Todd Brickhouse, senior vice president and chief financial officer.
- Mark Foss, senior vice president and general counsel, will now oversee Internal Auditing.
