The Basin Electric and Dakota Gasification Company boards of directors visited Dakota Gas’ urea project construction site May 8 to see first-hand the progress being made.

Directors drove by the new boiler, then took a walking tour through the carbon dioxide building, melt building, granulation building, load-out building, and storage facilities.

The current target for commercial operations is set for Dec. 31. Overall construction of the project is more than 70 percent complete.
