Laramie River Station employee educates high school shop students in OSHA 10

A Laramie River Station employee recently spent two days at Wheatland High School teaching OSHA 10 to a group of shop students in Wheatland, Wyoming.
Jason Evans, Laramie River Station safety coordinator, says his main goal as a safety professional is to educate and work with all ages and mindsets of people.
"My biggest goal is that through my instruction and life experiences, people think about their personal occupational safety and health, and go home at the end of the day to the people they love," says Evans.
OSHA 10 is an outreach and voluntary training program provided by Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA), United States Department of Labor. It provides 10 hours of training to the workers and employees touching on appreciation, prevention, and avoidance and reduction of safety and health hazards in the workplace.
