Campbell County School District

With enrollment stable at 7,500 students, the Campbell County School District is the third largest school district in Wyoming. The district includes:

• 1 high school center
• 1 junior/senior high school
• 1 alternative transitional school
• 2 junior high schools
• 15 elementary schools (3 rural)
• 1 aquatic center

Campbell County School District has 1,323 full-time and part-time employees, including 633 certified (teachers, specialists, administrators) and 690 non-certified (clerical, custodial, bus drivers, food service, aides, maintenance, etc.) employees.

The student/teacher ratio is 19.2 to 1. Parents have access to their children's daily grades and attendance through Powerschool. The district offers gifted and talented programs for students in grades 3 to 12.

CAT Program - This latchkey program runs daily from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.  It is also offered on teacher in-service days from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Some schools also offer this program from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Sheridan College offers many services to ensure its students achieve their individual goals:

Job placement
Sheridan College boasts a 90 percent job placement rate for its students who complete specified programs.

Transfer programs
Sheridan College has articulation agreements with many four-year institutions in nation. According to statistics from the University of Wyoming, students who transfer from Sheridan College to the University of Wyoming outperform all other transfer students.

Online learning
Sheridan College recognizes its students lead busy lives outside of the classroom, so they offer online courses in almost every program of study.

Learning Centers
Sheridan College has a fully developed learning center on each campus that includes writing and math labs. Tutors are on-hand and ready to help.
