Mountrail-Williams Electric Cooperative and Rural Electric Supply Cooperative (RESCO) will celebrate the grand opening of their brand new Williston, ND, warehouse this month. “We are very excited to welcome RESCO to the Williston community and celebrate continued growth in northwest North Dakota,” said Mountrail-Williams Electric General Manager Dale Haugen.
Mountrail-Williams Electric and RESCO will host an open house at the new warehouse and invite the public to join in the celebration by stopping out for a free lunch and a tour of the building. The open house will be held Aug. 17 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a ribbon cutting at 11:30 a.m. The new building is located at 508 58th Street West, west of the current Mountrail-Williams Electric office building across from Spring Lake Park.
Mountrail-Williams Electric worked with architecture firm Hulsing & Associates to design the $4-million, 32,000 square-foot building and contracted Shingobee Integrity out of Loretto, MN, to complete the construction. The building will provide much needed storage space for Mountrail-Williams Electric and RESCO, who will run the warehouse inventory management system. “We couldn’t be more excited to join the Williston community and better serve our members in North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana,” said RESCO Regional Vice President Dave Walters.
