At its January board meeting, Basin Electric received recognition from the North Dakota National Guard for its service to soldiers and airmen during Flood Operations 2011.
Basin Electric’s employees Dan Job and Kimberly Miller, who are army guardsmen, and Andrew Buntrock, an air guardsman, presented the certificate of appreciation to Basin Electric President Roy Ireland and CEO Andrew M. Serri on Jan. 11.
The certificate states, “Your service to our soldiers and airmen in the form of extended military leave allowance, allowing time off, donation of food and beverages in support of sandbagging efforts, and the excellent support to our Guard employees and their immediate families were keys to our success and examples for others to emulate.”
Job had nominated Basin Electric for the recognition last fall.
