The Brookings County Food Pantry received a gift Oct. 5.

The workers at Deer Creek Station donated money and all the food on the table in the photo to the right.

The Deer Creek Station is a 300-net megawatt natural gas combined-cycle power plant under construction near Brookings, SD. Boldt Construction is the construction contractor.

Workers on the site contributed $1,045 during a safety luncheon, which Basin Electric and Boldt Construction matched, bringing the total contribution to $3,135, plus food donations.
