Basin Electric continues its support of the Guard and Reserve
Board President Cliff Gjellstad signed a statement of support, continuing support for the National Guard and Reserve.

The Basin Electric board of directors approved a motion committing the cooperative to continue its support for the National Guard and Reserve, and veterans. President Cliff Gjellstad signed a statement of support Nov. 7 with the North Dakota Committee for the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). This new statement of support emphasizes employment of Guard and Reserve members, as well as veterans.
"We appreciate the sacrifices of Basin Electric employees who serve in the Guard and Reserve, as well as those employees who are veterans," Gjellstad said.
Ron Harper, Basin Electric CEO and general manager, said, "The signing of this new statement of support is important. We honor our veterans and remember their sacrifices that have kept our country free."
Bob Wefald, chair of the North Dakota ESGR Committee, thanked Basin Electric’s board for its continuing support.
