The Burning Hills Singers are lighting up the stage thanks to the help of Touchstone Energy® Cooperatives.
For the fourth consecutive year, Basin Electric and Touchstone Energy Cooperatives – Burke-Divide Electric, KEM Electric, McKenzie Electric, McLean Electric, Mor-Gran-Sou Electric, Goldenwest Electric, Roughrider Electric, Lower Yellowstone Rural Electric and Verendrye Electric – are sponsoring the Medora Musical’s Burning Hills Singers.
Well renowned for its rugged beauty and its affiliation with former U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt, Medora has become a tourist attraction for many.
“The Medora Musical is a jewel of our region. It draws people from across the country, and abroad and we are glad we can sponsor a good quality family friendly production,” said Emily McKay, event planner/charity giving coordinator.
“I remember about four years ago seeing the Touchstone logo, the rainbow of color and families and kids holding hands and thinking, ‘That represents the same kind of thing we do in Medora: Good family entertainment and a great family venue,’” said Randy Hatzenbuhler, president of the Theodore Roosevelt Foundation. “It was clear by the logo that is what Touchstone valued. I think that is part of the reason why the organizations work well together.”
The Theodore Roosevelt Foundation, as a way to express their appreciation of Basin Electric and Touchstone Energy, is designating July 10 and August 14 as co-op nights.
