Basin Electric to honor 10 area children at March 17th event
Cancer touches us all in one way or another. For too many in our communities, it affects our children. Thankfully, St. Baldrick’s Foundation has developed a way for us to fight back. And since 2008, Basin Electric has been engaged in the battle and more than 300 people have either shaved their heads or cut their hair to raise money for childhood cancer research and fellowships.
As in years past, Basin Electric is honoring the true heroes of the cause – the children. “These are the children of our fellow employees, neighbors, friends and relatives,” said Emily McKay, Basin Electric event planner/charitable giving coordinator. “They are why we do it.”
