ND member service professionals meet in Bismarck

The North Dakota Member Service Association Winter Meeting was held in Bismarck Jan. 5-6.
Lynn Moore, president of Moore Innovative Solutions, Carmel, IN, facilitated the Touchstone Energy Service Excellence Workshop. She discussed new ways cooperatives can educate their members by improving their internal and external communication skills.
"Your behavior is an extension of your personality," Moore said. "Member service representatives know the importance of the power of human connection."
Moore also recommended techniques for reaching younger members such as new applications for smart phones that give an energy "tip of the day" and ways to save through Co-op Connections. These applications can be found at www.togetherwesave.com and www.connections.coop.
