When the exurbs around Denver balloon with new houses outfitted with refrigerators, stoves and microwaves and new ethanol plants in Iowa use electricity to power equipment that turns corn into fuel, that’s when Dry Fork Station will be needed most — even if people don’t know where or what it is.
