Clean power plants

In 1997, former senior vice president of Operations & Engineering, Rich Fockler, reflected on a 35-year Basin Electric tradition of maintaining power plants at optimum levels of industrial hygiene and performance maintenance.

He said, “If you drop your sandwich on the turbine bay floor at any of our power plants, you can pick it up and eat it.”

Worth the drive

"Yesterday* I attended the dedication of Dry Fork Station. It was quite amazing and informative. I listened to the speeches, ate the lunch, took the walking tour, and rode on the bus tour. It was fantastic. Thanks for giving consumers like me the once in a lifetime opportunity to see the inside of a state-of-the-art generating station. It was well worth the 80 mile drive."
