Access to information beyond this page is restricted to qualified customers interested in the purchase and resale of wholesale electric power. 

How to qualify as a customer

As stated in Section 1 of the Purchase-for-Resale Agreement, qualified customers are allowed access to the Purchase-for-Resale Application Web site to conduct purchase-for-resale transactions over available transmission paths by selling power to Basin Electric on one side of a selected transmission path, and buying an equal amount of power from Basin Electric on the other side of the selected transmission path.

This is a non-discriminatory process done on a first-come-first-serve basis, aiding the electrical industry by making full use of transmission paths that otherwise might not be used to their fullest extent.
